We're sending out a smoke test today, to test if the Backerkit Survey is working the way it should be, as if election day isn't exciting enough.
Anywho., so if you read that someone have gotten their survey, and you haven't yet. That's why. :)

Hi All
It's with great enthusiasm that we can announce the production process has been initiated!
For those reading this update out of context. We postponed production, with a majority vote from all backers, that we should to optimize the seat comport and ship a bit later.
Some final clarifications on materials and stitching for the seat were agreed upon last week.
The Delivery we are January, just before CNY for the first batch and the second batch after CNY. As we get closer, we'll update you.
SURVEY
Add-on's
You'll be able to get the add ons at a great price, please get a bunch (free shipping... Arghhh) to help us offset the rising shipping cost described below.
"Double tap" contributores (two main pledges) IMPORTANT
If you have contributed for 2 main pledges - Eg. 2x super early bird, singles - you will get two surveys. An you need to fill out both of them - you can toggle between your contributions from your confirmation page: look for a yellow bar that says "You have multiple surveys for this project," and click it. You should be able to see all your orders and review them from that drop-down.
Shipping
The survey will be sent out tmr. Thursday, so stay tuned to your inbox. The faster you fill it out the better we can coordinate our shipping process.
In the survey, you will choose your Campster color, as well as pay for Shipping.
Pay for shipping: We didn't charge for shipping during the campaign, as noted in the campaign and the FAQ. Shipping is a variable cost, when shipping in the future, due to the lack of long-haul passenger airlines, the prices have risen a lot, some destinations have been doubled, and some even more. It's a huge bummer, as we are shipping on the other side of 2020 new Covid19 pricing will hit us hard. Good for you, our pricing is as written in the campaign, fixed.
Here's a super boring picture from the danish postal service that we were planning on using - stating that eg. Shipping to the USA will be 5,5$ more pr. kg (2lbs) and each Campster in the carton is 1 kg. (2Lbs) So, that's a bummer. (it's more or less the same from the China/HK based companies we have talked to)
PostNord introduces a flight surcharge on a number of products to the USA, Australia and China
From 1 December 2020, we will introduce a flight supplement to the prices of MyPack, PostNord Parcel, EMS, PostNord Tracked, and PostNord Untracked.
The flight surcharge is due to the fact that COVID-19 has reduced the number of flight routes and reduced capacity, which has led the airlines to raise their prices for transporting mail abroad.
The supplement only applies to the USA, China, and Australia and amounts to DKK 38 ($5,5) per kilo to the USA

Dear All.
New seats arrived along with a cupholder and groundsheet - and we are happy.! We’ve just sent back signed and approved samples - which they should get on Monday! Exiting!
Here’s the two add-on’s we made, please order a bunch of them. They are nice and you're gonna love em - if you don’t get them, you are gonna regret it :) Ground sheet really works like a charm on sand, Sitpack only sinks in 1cm...
We’ll be making these available as add ons at only $9 each, and or at $6.95 each if you purchase the set at $14,95 - These will not be charged Shipping.
Shipping prices as we have discussed in the previous updates and in the FAQ have been depending on the final weight of the product and will be charged accordingly.
All products will be sent with “ePacket” which is a basic traced solution with HK Post, Swiss, USPS, La Poste, EMS or Similar.
We will have a Fedex/DHL solution available as well, better suited for larger orders, for faster shipments. But this is not entirely settled yet.
When we send out the survey next week, we really need you all to act fast, so we can get started with production. ESPECIALLY the ppl. Wanting the Classic blue Sitpack we really need you to go through the survey FAST - so we can get the quantity fast. Classic Blue will be ordered on top of the order of Black and Grey which we already have agreed to make.
We can’t wait to get these chairs out there.

And here's a quick test on Campster general strength= 75kg / 165lbs + 86Kg/+190lbs = 161 Kg / 355 lbs ... Not recomended naturally. :)

Hi All.
I know that the word most reacted to in this title was delay :) ... But, I belive you'll understand why this is needed when you get the product. We were happy with the initial seat that we launched with, but feedback from beta testers has shown that getting the sweet spot for the seat hasn't been achieved with that seat... But now we’re really close. So, the trade-off will be well worth it. See below.
NEW Samples have ARRIVED! First impressions: AWESOME. Better than expected!
I met up with Sitpack's lead engineer, Niklas, in a shady parking lot (we live quite far from each other these days) to check and test the new samples.
The new locks give much more response when locking. A full “click” sound is not achievable with this type of locking but you can easily feel and hear it. Combined with the white lines you can easily see and feel when it's secure.
The seat is MUCH bigger and MUCH more comfortable - but unfortunately, it's just a wee bit too big/long and gives a “tipping” feel when leaning back. We have provided feedback to the factory, and they’ll try to have 3 different samples ready around the 20th of September.
Check our test pic's below (tester, 105kg/230lbs. 185cm) Feedback: New seat is much better, sitting normal, sitting straight up, but leaning back should feel more "firm".
Also, we got the rubber feet - a huge improvement to the overall feel!
Add ons will also be sent from our partner on the 20th of Sept. I.e.

When add ons are received and tested the survey will be sent out. Expect the Backerkit survey to be sent out around Oct. 1st. we'll nudge you when it's available.
10-15.000 units take 60-75 days to make. After 30 days, we can have the first batches ready.

I have also made another doodle, to ask to what extent that you are OK with us improving the seat at the cost of a speedier delivery. Getting a feeling for the majority's feelings will result in better decisionmaking for us going forward.

Thank you all so very much for supporting our campaign.
We are getting straight to business and will be getting ready for a China trip shortly. The purpose of the trip will be to check tooling and assembly and starting production mid-September. We should then be able to have the first shipment ready during November and December.
As we have been down this road before, we are bracing ourselves for the hardest part of Crowdfunding: Fulfilment
Late September early October we'll be sending out the Backerkit survey. We're doing that in order to get our addon's (cup holder, groundsheet + one extra color) in place to these can be added in the survey. This is also where you can enter shipping address and pay for shipping.
*For those that do not know about Backerkit: it's a fulfillment and order management system specifically made for Crowdfunding campaigns. In the system, our backers can add more products, add ons, pay for shipping, and change the address if needed until a few days before shipment.
