Important: I need to clarify that if the plug (explanation below) breaks – Campster is not useless – you can still put the pole in the seat pocket until we send you a new plug. We get comments like: Arrived broke, leg broken (i.e. plug) Useless, leg broke, seat broken, refund NOW, it would really be great if we can get a chance to assist you, as the issue is fixable. Naturally, we are sorry that some have this experience – and we’ll do what we can to make amends. We haven’t seen this issue in any of the 300 units we shipped out in February, so we are surprised. Please read about it below.
Shipping status
Currently, we have shipped 2200 Rewards are shipped. Taking us to about 30% of the total contributions. We have 1500 grey on the way in next week for DK (which will take us to about 50% shipped). It’s been delayed due to massive congestion in Russia. Should have been in on the 8th now arriving on the 25th In Hamburg and then going to Denmark… Corona still has a massive impact on prices and lead times. Find the Official document about the Congestion below.
Canada: Unfortunately, our supplier stopped shipping goods to Canada so the 140 orders to Canada will be shipped from either China or Denmark. Or we'll find a way to bulk ship the orders to Canada and ship them from there.
Australia / East Asia: We'll ship these from Denmark.
Returned Items
We are receiving some returns, we will contact you and redistribute your reward to you if the mistake is ours. We will charge the reshipment fee if the return is because it has not been picked up in due time, or the address is wrong or not updated. Contact - [email protected] if you have changes that are not possible with this Backer kit link: https://campster-chair.backerkit.com/
Blue Campster's and the rest...
All the Blue units have been finalized, along with the final 1230 Blacks. We are arranging to ship to US and Denmark this week. And have been getting quotes to send the rest from China, with a supplier that can handle the packages directly from china, and we are now negotiating. Fingers crossed we can get the cost to a reasonable about. If not will ship the goods to Denmark and US pushing the final shipment into September.
Regarding the plugs mentioned in last weeks update:
It happens if the plug is pulled out of the tube during unfolding, we haven’t experienced this issue from the factory. The force from sitting in the seat will bend the plug forward until it breaks off. If the plug is in the tube there is nothing to worry about. The most common reason is if you unfold the Campster by pulling in the seat edges with the. (We have fasted a note on the right seat edge) – if you do, the plug can break. If the plug is fully inserted, no worries.
If the plug is broken - contact us and we'll send you a new one. Meanwhile, remove the remains from the seat pocket and use Campster without the plug.
The screw is "only" there to keep the seat on when folding and unfolding, as not to have any loose parts.
Small scratched in the seat
We have received some pictures where the seat arrives with scratches or cuts in the fabric; we can’t see how this is done during transport, as it’s wrapped in a nylon bag, a cornstarch bag, and 2 cardboard boxes. We’ll figure out why this has happened. If this is the case with your product, you are eligible for a new seat, just send us an email at [email protected] - and we’ll try to get to it ASAP. If it’s not too bad you can still use it, and we’ll save some precious Co2 shipping another seat – should it worsen in time, we can exchange later – maybe we´ll have another color at that time.
The Campster experience – Campster is Different!
We are getting some really great feedback. We are also getting notified about some frustrating experiences when unfolding Campster. Here are some pointers to get the best experience:
Don´t use excessive force or tools when opening the Chair, if you feel that you apply unnecessary pressure or force, please let us know – or review our user guide videos again. I this doesn´t help please contact us for a solution. You can use tome WD40 or silicone spray to improve the smoothness of the Telescopic tubes.
Don´t pull out the tube and expect them to lock by themselves.
Don´t sit down before you have double-checked that the white lines are aligned
Don´t pull anywhere on the seat to unfold, especially where the seat is attached. Plugs can be pulled out and break when seating.
The seat is tightly mounted on the frame so it will stay firm and nice for longer. It will get looser within 20-40 minutes of sitting depending on your weight, and even better after a long time of usage.
Thank you again for your support.
This is a Crazy project that we never expected to take a massive turn, just due to an increase in seat size. Thank you for still staying aboard. !!!
Have a nice week!

Hi All
While shipments are moving forward, and backers have started to receive their rewards.
Two important notes:
1. Please do not pull in the seat when unfolding, or pull in the plugs. Plug pulling is only if you want to change the color of your seat or you need to wash it. Pulling a plug without putting it back in Entirely - if not inserted 100% will render it useless as the force from the seat will snap it.
2. Watch this video if you don't want to read the below: https://youtu.be/VkZnwFnK5SI
We have learned that the seat on some Campsters - mainly grey are a smidging narrower across the back than black and blue. we don't know why and it's not all of them.
We accepted a very tight fit, as the seat will expand over time - we did not want to risk, having a too large seat resulting in a wobbly experience.
They can cause the unfolding experience to "fall to the ground" as the telescopic tube can be very tight due to the tension caused by the narrow seat.
The solution is simple - take out one screw, right or left, from the back support and use the chair for some time until the seat has stretched enough to make the unfolding more smooth.
Please check this video I made:
Shipping intel will be in the updated tomorrow.
Thank you, everyone.

Hi All
Thank you very much for the support on my previous update!
In the US we have the following left in stock, which will be shipped out in the next few weeks.
2.256 Lunar Grey
744 Jet Black
Waiting for the schedule from our partner in the US:
Just received it in Denmark. (See pictures below)
876 Jet black
756 Lunar grey
1380 Lunar Grey planned for Rail to Denmark next week.
Cupholders and bottle holders arrived according to the bundles in the shipment- unfortunately, too many bottles were sent to Denmark, so we’ll need to send over a good 600 bottles next week with Fedex for the US/CA bundles.
We’ll ship as chronologically as the SKU combinations allow.
Once your Campster Arrives, please check my user guide before use. The construction is very tight with the first use - take a seat for 10-15 minutes to let the constructions stretch a bit. We made it tight so that it will keep feeling sturdy and firm after many uses. In some cases, it will probably feel too tight, due to the variance from the factory. In this case, spend a little more time wiggling it out, and sit in it for a while longer.
I hear from some of those that received it that it needs a lot of balance, and for some, they didn't have that feeling. Sitting in the Campster the first time your senses will be alert, as it is very new and different from what you normally use.
I'm looking forward to your feedback - hopefully it will not be that we need to make a bigger seat.
Again, and I know this sounds tedious, but THANK you for your patience.

Dear All
Hope you are well.
Sorry for the late reply, and slow communication. Unfortunately, resources are limited in our company both financially and in terms of hands. I’m doing my best to keep up with everything while being on “vacation” with my 3 kids. It’s an industrial holiday in Denmark right now (schools and daycare are closed - vacation is kinda mandatory, except for me and other hopeful entrepreneurs), so it's very bad timing. We are only a very small team trying to manage what would probably need twice as many hands in a “normal” company.
Shipping has started slowly from the US as goods came in last week, some 260 units shipped out last week. And we’re now and waiting for the update from our partner for what is shipped/ready this week and next. Friday/Saturday this week we should be able to give a full overview. We have a second batch with 1500 Grey that came in yesterday, so that should follow in the coming overview.
The EU shipment due on the 8th has finally started making its way from Hamburg to Denmark - I just signed to Customs papers today. Another 1500 will arrive around the 10th of august in Hamburg/Denmark
Please be patient (a little while longer) all our decisions are made in the best interest of the crowd that supported us.
As noted by several of our backers, Campster has popped up in other places in the world, and there are good explanations for it. Our istribution partner has executed a small crowdfunding in Korea, due to an agreement signed in early 2021 when IGG distribution was set for April. The same goes for the promotion in Japan. We can't put our company at a promotional standstill, or stop pre-orders during a delay. Sitpack relies on very few products that unfortunately have been thoroughly complicated and expensive to produce. All our choices are done within the interest of our supports from IGG and other platforms in mind. If you saw the products in the hands of any influencers it's because it's shipped directly from the factory -and all backer shipments to the USA and DK have incurred massive delays en route.
Again, I'm thoroughly sorry that the campaign has drawn out as it has. It hurting us more than you know. These are very tough and challenging times for the Sitpack, so please stay supportive, we really need it.
Thanks.
Jonas and the Sitpack team.

I know we are first in the saloon door and the first in the crossfire when it comes to the delays. But when the shipper announces a delay just the day before the delivery day it's really out of our hands - (8th Hamburg -est. 1st. shipping date to backers -16th) and after our update - it's double up on the dissapointment.
New delivery dates from Denmark:
26th where we'll start shipping - if all goes well.
The USA is still on track to be delivered on the 15th (tmr.) and will start shipping Friday if all goes well.
We have more shipments for US and DK planned for the last week of July. Dates are yet to be confirmed.
