Hi All,

So my last update gave rise to some questions about the weight capacity.

So here I'm doing another weight capacity test: 145kg / 320Lbs to  165 / 364lbs

We put down weight capacity along with the seat change as the weight distribution is much different now.  So 120kg. / 265Lbs - is a safety measure, but it will not crumble at 130 kg. /286 Lbs

In the video, we’re pushing the Campster to 145KG and bounce the weight to +165 Kg. where it's still going strong. Hope that this will put your mind at ease.

What I was stressing in the last update was that you should not make extreme changes in weight distribution backward, and/or skewed.

If you are really unsure about your reward, I am sure that you can gift it to someone who will be very happy about it.

We will be updating on shipping next week.

Thank you for understanding.

Dear All

Sorry for the delayed update.

First Batch arrived at our DK HQ and we’re preparing shipments. Frist 42 units shipping out today, the next 300 or so, will be shipped during the next week to EU/UK customers. And 240 contributions from the US.

If your one of the 421 backers yet to fill out your survey. Please do so ASAP :)

First impressions on the chair are great, but with a BUT, (read on below the video). The finished, build quality is great, seat sizes have been completely nailed after 15+ variations. And comfort is where it needs to be for a 1kg/2lbs -  43cm/17" chair.

Weight capacity exceeds 120kg when sitting in the product as indented. The design; a tall three-legged construction with a high back demand immense strength requirements for the tubes and the core on which the tubes are mounted, so tipping and skewing weight is not recommended.

Now that we have the mass-produced units there is conformity in the sitting experience, and both visually and physically one can see and feel that the new seat, while having more space for your ass also, it's much tighter around the back, keeping a firm and nice feeling when seated, even after multiple uses. The seat is like a good pair of Jeans, at first they are a tight fit, but when broken in, the fit is perfect.

Campster is not "form-fitted" like other similar chairs – so you’ll need to find “your” comfort zone.  Check out an unedited unfolding video below - and follow the steps once you get yours.

IMPORTANT: We found that a tight fit of the seat results that the stress on the back support tubes are a bit skewed in the beginning, as the seat is pulling inwards. If you push backward hard or put weight skewed on the tubes, you can experience that one of the back tubes will snap, the chair will NOT collapse. It’s very easy to avoid, - just don't do a stretch push or rock hard backward. We are implementing changes to increase tube strength in the next batch.

The tight fit will make the first few times unfolding your Campster feel hard, after a few times the frame and seat will loosen up, and the unfolding will be smooth.

For your safety, and to achieve the best experience please check out our user guide:

Check out this video where I put Campster to the test – it handles very well but I don't recommend training free weights on your Campster:- )

As the tubes are in direct contact with the centerpiece. We have added some rubber stickers, but they don't perform very well. We will be improving these for the next batch as well – after using Campster for a while, you will see some marks on the Alu, but it's only a cosmetic issue.

We went to meet a couple of backers and handed over their contributions. A great big thanks to everyone that was interested in meeting up, we really appreciate it! Unfortunately, we have been limited by time and logistical restraints so we haven’t been able to visit more this time.

Keep in touch,

Jonas - and the Sitpack team

I would like to deliver a few of them in person, while we'll be filming your reaction :-)... we'll share the footage with all the other patiently waiting customers.  I live in Nothern Jutland / Klitmøller, so any backers within an hour or two's drive, please let me know at [email protected]. Title: Jonas, meeting

I'll also be in Copenhagen next week, Wednesday-Friday, so any Copenhagen backers are welcome to contact us as well and meet up at our office and get their product (the first contact first serve).

As the 20 units which are both going to those wanting to review, a few key dealers, and those that want to.

We'll do this again when we get the "larger" batch units later in February. The more input we the better, if our feedback results in slight changes, we could implement these quickly right after CNY.

Here's an email from Feb. 2nd ... The "larger" batch of goods will arrive around the 28th, of feb. ill keep you guys updated.

As soon as CNY is over we'll share the production and delivery timeline.

Sorry for the late update, there's a lot going on these days and we are all working hard to get as many products done as possible.

Unfortunately, new Covid19 outbreaks are increasing restrictions in China, so workers have to leave earlier for CNY. Please read the mail screenshot from our manufacturing partner below. Only 500 units will be finished for the Chinese New Year, and not 2000 units. A huge bummer for everyone! Still, we are looking forward to getting the very first mass-produced units to Denmark and giving them a spin here in Denmark. We’ll make sure to provide an in-depth review when the product arrives.

If there are any good video/photographers/YouTubers/Instagrammers/TicTok’ers among our backer, we would love to know if you are interested in getting your order early, in exchange for giving an in-depth review for your fellow backers? We believe that I would be of great value for everyone to get some propper visual feedback, and not just a quick comment. Please let us know :) Thanks.

Just send a message to [email protected] Att. Chris Anne // Campster review

I hope that your trust in us to deliver is still intact, and you have a wee bit more patients.

Below are pics from production. Tubes right after sandblasting, ready for anodizing. Also, the seat, GS, CH, Bottle are all well underway.

All the best Jonas, and the Sitpack team

Hi All.

Hope that you entered the new year well and safely.

We are moving forward at a good pace.

The picture below, received from the factory last Monday, shows 1000's of tubes before heading off to the oxidation factory to get surface treatment and color.

We'll have 2000 (black) units + add-ons ready before Feburary.

The plan for now is:
Shipping in chronological order.

Shipping about 1500 orders from China to Denmark with Rail and from Denmark to all countries except for US.

Shipping about 500 orders from China to US, and then ground shipping. US Air prices have skyrocketed as cargo is no longer transported in excess storage capacity in commercial airlines. So we have to send with ship and then ground. Our normal storage in Hong Kong has entirely stopped sending goods to USA due to the same issues.

We're still looking for solutions.

Thanks for your continued support.

Looking forward to your feedback very soon.
